This white wine is made from a very rare grape variety, Granazza, native to Mamoiada in central Sardinia, a region showing outstanding potential. The Mamoja sticker on the neck symbolises that Mussennore are part of the Mamoja Association, 1 of only 21 wineries, established in 2015 to promote higher standards than those required of the Cannonau di Sardegna DOC. This provides the guarantee that the wine has been made at low yields, with manual harvesting and the use of indigenous yeasts.
Only about 700 bottles were made in this first vintage and Granazza is known for it’s age worthy potential. An an exceptional wine that embodies the authenticity and tradition of the Mamoiada region of Sardinia.
