The wine is produced from selected vineyards in the area east of Ruvo di Puglia on the limestone hills of the Alta Murgia. Pleasantly fruity aromatic wine with delicate tropical notes. Dry and balanced, it goes well with grilled fish as well as seafood pasta such as Troccoli, vegetables soups and white meats. It is also excellent for a fresh aperitif.
TASTING NOTES
The taste balance outlines the decisive character of the wine which closes pleasantly between softness and long freshness. It has an intense straw yellow colour and the aroma of nectarine, peach and tropical fruit which intertwines with freshly mown lawn, chamomile flowers and yellow daisies.
Wine Making:
The grapes are harvested in mid-september and then taken immediately to the cellar and subjected to destemming, cooled to 10 ° then short maceration in the press for 4/6 hours in order to extract the aromas of the skins. The must is collected for fermentation in steel at 15 °. The wine ages for 40 days before being bottled where it remains for another 2 months.
