Una “Lacrima” (in English meaning “a tear”) suitably describes this pure Negroamaro rosato produced from grapes cultivated in the Serre di Terra d’Otranto area. It is the result of the slow fermentation of the “flower” must to produce delicate fruit perfumes and high sapidity. This rosato stands out in its uniqueness as a fresh, intense and elegant wine.

Tasting Notes:

Vineyard Characteristics:
Planting Type: Non irrigated cordon spur, picked by hand in boxes during the end of August.
Soil: Calcareous limestone of medium blending of average depth.
Wine Yield: 5000 kg. per hectare.
Vinification:
Cold maceration of the berries followed by a slow fermentation of the clear must obtained from the crushing of the grapes.
Colour: Tenuous pink.
Nose: Grapefruit and floral bright aromas.
