The tradition in Salento is for Malvasia to be blended with the more popular Negroamaro, however since 2001, Duca Carlo Guarini have produced the pure black Malvasia, an elegant and serene red, expression of quality and typicality.
Tasting Notes
The nose opens to the typical scents of ripe black fruit, liquorice, earth and spices. Of beautiful density and aromatic length, on the palate it is rich in flavour, lively, and at the same time fresh with acidity.
