Sparkling sweet white made with the Charmat method, with a fine and persistent taste. On the nose, this wine is aromatic and intense, with pleasant Moscato notes. The flavor is sweet, slightly acidic, and well-balanced. It is ideal with almond pastries.
TASTING NOTES
Brilliant straw yellow with a distinct taste. Yellow flowers, mimosas and preserved peaches to the nose, with herbaceous and rosewater notes beneath. Creamy and sweet in the mouth, with a fruity finish.
The wine can be drunk with pastries and cakes such as baker’s custard, Chiacchiere biscuits, white fruit pies, sponge cake with whipped cream and sweets.
Wine Making: On being harvested, the grapes are cooled and left in contact with their skins for 4 to 6 hours to acquire flavor and color. They are then soft pressed, and the extracted must is decanted and filtered before being cooled to zero degrees Celsius. It is then placed in an autoclave where it undergoes single fermentation. It remains on the lees for 60 to 90 days before isobaric bottling.
This wine won 1st place in the Trofeo A.I.S. Murgia “Dolce Puglia” competition.
