TASTING NOTES
This wine is an innovative blend of negroamaro and syrah combining together the robust flavours of the native negroamaro grape with the punch and fullness of the dark skinned syrah grape. Finished in oak barrels for six months giving it a deep ruby red colour with light purple shades this wine is ideal with barbeque food, beef and lamb as well as tomato based pasta dishes. On the nose it has immediate notes of cut grass and black pepper with a background of tobacco and on the palate it enters with great freshness and drinkability followed by the balance and roundness at the centre of the mouth. Strong varietal notes of spices and cocoa in the aftertaste give this wine a complete flavour.
