A white wine from Montalbino in Montespertoli Tuscany made from the Trebbiano Toscano grape, and occasionally a very small percentage of Malvasia del Chianti.
This wine is refreshing and complex and the skill that goes into growing the grapes and making this wine is immediately obvious to those who taste it. Perfect on its own and with food, this wine also ages beautifully.
Tasting Notes:
Notes of tropical yellow fruits, peach and apricot together with delicate floral touches. Fresh and fragrant in the mouth with good texture and softness.
Pair with fish, white meats, fresh and semi-aged cheeses.
Serve at 10-12°C.
Vinification and Aging:
The grapes are manually harvested in small creates and whole bunch pressed. A spontaneous fermentation takes place in steel tanks and then the wine is maturated for at least 6 months on the fine lees with frequent batonnage.
