This wines takes its name from Accardo Guarini, Count of Valesio, who first cultivated the family’s vineyard on the Pìutri Estate in 1114. Overlooking the Adriatic Sea between Lecce and Brindisi, the Guarini family have continued to take care of the vineyard respecting their roots and the traditions of Salento whilst imposing their very own brand of very special and innovative winemaking.
Tasting Notes:
Intense ruby red in colour with spicy and fruity tones. On the palate it is complex, elegant and full bodied yet not heavy. Ideal for red meat roasts and aged cheeses.
