The name celebrates the years since Accardo Guarini, Count of Valesio, cultivated his vineyard in the Tenuta Pìutri as documented in a coeval parchment in 1114. The wine is obtained from carefully selected and harvested grapes in the second week of September and is vinified in the ancient cisterns dug into the concrete plastered temperature controlled basement to improve fermentation. It expresses the best of the Salento wine tradition with a long life, rich and intense on the nose and on the taste unique to the ancient and rare grape variety.
