Cantina Berritta in Dorgali, Sardinia, are the only winery to cultivate the ancient and almost extinct Panzale grape making this very special white wine. This wine will evolve for many more years to come.
Tasting Notes:
Notes of almond flowers add a fragrant olfactory profile of plum, medlar and gooseberry to the wine. The mouthfeel is fresh with a sapid aftertaste and persistent finish.
Serve at 8-10°C.

Soil: Permeable weathered granite
Altitude: 120 metres above sea level
Harvest: By hand in small crates early September
Vinification:
Fermentation on the skins for 12 to 18 hours at a controlled 18°C. The wine rests in steel for 5 months and several more in bottles.
